I had a wonderful experience at Carpet King in St. Louis Park starting with Mike and ending with the installation. Mike was knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs and questions. He seemed to share my enthusiasm. Jabar and his installation crew were absolutely wonderful. They were so friendly and thorough. Everything was done perfectly. They were even willing to share their lunch! They cleaned up and were very conscious of my neighbors in the condo building. I would certainly use this establishment again.

Very pleased with our experience at the St. Louis Park store and through phone calls/emails with Claire, and with the install that happened just two days ago! They were knowledgeable when we were exploring our options (for a 100+ year old house with imperfect floor levels). We went with a commercial sheet vinyl that is high quality and has really refreshed the space!Install day they worked efficiently. They even made sure to show me behind the oven and fridge how the new floor looked before they moved the appliances back. On this note, one thing to consider - which is just part of the process - is making sure you know how to disconnect your oven and fridge as they have to move those in order to get the flooring beneath. With gas and waterlines, it was a little cumbersome as we’ve never done it before but we figured it out!They followed up promptly after the install to see how it went. There is just some very minor fixing up on the edges to make it lay flat (but that sounds standard for this material) that they’ll come to fix.Overall, very happy with the final product and would recommend!

My husband and I worked with Connor to purchase our luxury vinyl plank and I can't say enough good things about our experience. We spent so much time searching for the perfect lvp for our home, but once we checked out Flooring Expo we spent all of 15 minutes before we found exactly what we were looking for. Connor did a great job of listening to what we wanted, our price point, and is knowledgable about the technical aspects of the flooring. Connor kept us updated via email and phone calls with where our floors were in the shipment process and eta. Fantastic experience and would use again!

If I could give them a zero I would. All they are good at is taking your money. Measurements were wrong and they tried to pin it on me. I wanted my patterned carpet going a specific way and they never seemed to care. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you want the worst customer service ever. This entire company is horrible.

We’ve been to multiple places such as menards, Home Depot, and fleet farm to find the best deals and carpet king was the best! We walked in when they were having their 50% off deal on insulation and free installation! Not only did the deal was good but Heather, the customer service rep was wonderful. She went out of her way to help us through the entire process. When we ran into a problem, Heather was nice enough to comfort us and ensure quality help. Heather has the best customer service of all places we’ve went to, even when compared to the other Carpet King locations. If you need carpet done, I recommend heading over to the Carpet King located in Savage Minnesota to get help from Heather. Also the carpet installer Pablo is an artist when it comes to carpet installation. Within 5 hours he finished installing carpet in all our rooms, stairs, and living room. He did it with precision beauty. What a guy!!!!

They worked within my time frame and Steve the installer was professional, efficient, and my floor looks fantastic!

I write this to sincerely appreciate Jim Harris for his outstanding Customer service. He is very flexible and has a great patience in dealing with customer matters. I had different choices of Flooring companies and flooring products but Jim had been able change my mind and gave me confidence to give my LVP floor project to Carpet King, Saint Louis Park Location. Also would like to mention that I am very happy with his professionalism showed in the follow up after a sale.

Heather was very easy to work with and SO helpful! She made sure our carpet got ordered and that everything went well. There was a slight mixup on installation day, and when I called Heather, she made sure the problem got solved immediately! Her priority is customer satisfaction! The installation team was great, very polite and hardworking. We are very happy with our new carpet! Thank you!

Fun, knowledgeable sales team! They are a Stainmaster flooring center with a "if it stains, we replace" program..... any stain! That's the golden ticket with my busy family.

St Louis Park Carpet King gave us excellent advise about carpeting and flooring that we used for a bathroom and kitchen remodel. The carpet installer was prompt, courteous and did a very neat job installing our living room carpet

Updated review. Yesterday I rated this company 5 stars. In my review I explained that there was a problem with the installation (several problems, including the installers throwing the old carpet off the 5th floor balcony and moving the and not resetting the balcony swing) but when I called the company Heather apologized profusely and assured me that Marti in customer service would make sure the swing was put back. Well, an appointment was set to move the swing but they never called or came. While I gave them the benefit of the doubt in my earlier review, I must say I can no longer give them a good review. The sales experience was great but the installation and service were unsatisfactory.

Had a really poor experience. These folks are brokers of flooring product and the services to get them installed. And now I remember why we don’t use brokers - because once you engage with them you lose control over the process, such as the ability to purchase your supplies, to compare install quotes, to hold your providers accountable. If you don’t like your Carpet King rep... too bad... you’re stuck with them through the process even if they aren’t friendly or knowledgeable or even competent. We don’t use travel agents to book travel, or order content lenses from the eye doctor, etc etc. so why would we use a broker for our flooring?? I’ve done other projects since and would recommend going to Menards to purchase product and then getting their list of vetted professionals to hire for installing.

AMAZING experience! I learned far more with Marti than I did at another carpet seller. She helped me navigate to the right stuff for our lifestyle (dogs). I felt like she was trying to make sure we picked out stuff that was going to work with us, not just get a sale. And since this was an HRA City Loan there were added hurdles that they jumped through to get us what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with choosing them. Added bonus we didn't have to move the couches, paid them to do. Who knew that was a thing! So glad she told me about that service.

Excellent service and installation. Jim Harris did a great job in assisting me in getting me the right carpeting for our home. My mother, recently diagnosed with a form or Parkinson's needed short nap carpeting for her balance issues. Jim really came through for us as he arranged the carpet installed before her return from the hospital. The installation was done quickly by a master. We get compliments every time someone comes to visit. I can't say enough about how kind and compassionate Jim and the entire staff were. Thank you Jim! Sincerely, Michael Walsh
