Overall, working with Flooring Expo was phenomenal. We worked with Mitchell and he was awesome to work with from day one. He was knowledgeable, answered all our questions, wanted to make sure we were getting what we wanted in flooring. He was great. We had the flooring installed on September 3-4 this year. The detail that Guillano and his team spent on the install were great. Amazing attention to detail was awesome. The reason I gave 4 stars was the fact that they came up short with the flooring and it ended up having to be ordered and it was on back order. The communication could be a little more better. Was frustrating at times because I was not getting answers as to when it would be done. Well, today 10/3 it did get done and once again the installer who came out was awesome. Got it done in less than an hour and even fixed a little issue he noticed. Would I work with Flooring Expo again. Absolutely. Maybe some better communication, but everything else made up for it. So, Thank You to everyone. The flooring in the house is so beautiful now, and just in time for the holidays.

Couldn’t give you a review of their products but I can tell you their service is absolutely AWFUL. I made an appointment a week in advance to get a quote/estimate on the upstairs level of our home. I received a confirmation email and text of my time. I stayed home from work for the 3 hour window waiting for a representative to show up. 5 minutes before the window ended, I contacted the company trying to find out what was going on. I didn’t hear back for nearly another hour for someone to help me. The new representative just pretty much brushed it off without much acknowledgement until I mentioned the inconvenience. He then told me he was going to call me to talk and didn’t call for almost an hour. I messaged again to check in and he said he would call in a second and yet again didn’t call. When he came over it honestly felt like I was being read a bunch of lines about the deals he was “giving” me that were clearly standard to make customers feel like they are getting a deal they aren’t. He also pretty much insulted me for offering to pay cash to help with the pricing. (Mind you he also told me he was 26 so I am attributing a lot of this to lack of maturity/age) He then told me he would be getting my estimate the next day and we made an appointment time. An HOUR after the time had passed he messaged to tell me we couldn’t do it that day. We rescheduled for today and it’s now 40 min past our time and I haven’t heard anything. I really was ready to make a purchase if this company had cared enough to follow through with anything. I’m seeing they have great reviews on google but I missed the massive amount of 1 star reviews on yelp. Now I’m not even surprised and feel stupid for wasting my own time and not doing better research. Go literally anywhere but here for your floors and save yourself the headache.

Michael has always gotten me the best price while still keeping materials quality. If any other contractor needs someone quick to respond and solve issues he’s your man.

Literally couldn’t get your salesperson to call me back to complete the sale, installer showed up hours past the timeframe that they gave me

You should seriously reconsider the sales people you have, I’m assuming they work on commission, asked them multiple times to call me to complete a sale, I still never heard back from them. Kind of ridiculous for a sales based business, I would recommend going somewhere else. Update: they also showed up hours past the time that they said they would for installation.

Update: after posting this review, I called again. Requested cleaning which removed the larger stains reasonably well.

Ordering was easy. I had several changes on my end on installation and Mitch worked with me to re-quote and then credit me for work I ended up doing myself. Very pleasant, professional and quick! The LVP installers were fantastic too, worked quickly and cleaned up as they went. Very good experience!

I have had a wonderful experience at Flooring Expo. I just got a new condo that needed all new carpeting and LVP flooring. It was the biggest flooring purchase I have ever made and I felt at ease with my dealings with Michael G. He showed me several options in various price ranges, I ended up with one of the more expensive carpet choices and LVP but I it was my decision and not pushed into them. In the end with a sale and rebate the costs were reasonable for new flooring for my entire condo. Michael answered all my questions about install, there were many, and he was always responsive and patient. I would highly recommend Flooring Expo of St. Louis Park for your flooring needs and would highly recommend Michael. If I ever need more flooring I will be back. Thank You, Steven

The initial meetings with the two men who run the organizaton went well. They are both attentive to detail and there to answer any questions I had. The installers cleaned up the hallway/elevator in our building and did a wonderful job installing the carpet. The only problem was they did not speak English and that was somewhat difficult navigating them here and also the parking. However, it wasn't their fault. I would guess they are put into this situation and try their best. Despite the sometime confusion I tipped them well.
