WORST experience EVER! Do not buy from Carpet King

I had carpet installed winter 2018. Within month it was showing wear in high traffic areas. Immediately following installation carpet began pulling out. I find pieces of carpet all over the house. At first I thought they were just left over from Instalation. It’s been about 7 months now and the stray fibers continue to show up. It’s obviously not from Instalation. They sent an inspector out to review. His report basically says normal wear and tear. Two people live in the house with very little guests. The carpet should not be falling apart at 6 months. They refused to help now I fear I will need to replace the carpet at my expense.

DO NOT USE! Horrible customer service. Installers left our home without toilets for days over a holiday when we were hosting and had been assured it would be fixed. Didn’t have all the flooring pieces, took weeks for the floor to be finished. Bait and switch pricing. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Spend your money elsewhere.

This company and the installer were so disappointing. The wrong flooring was installed by a novice. It was painfully obvious to me when I returned home that the flooring was the wrong color, incorrectly installed, nails were shot through the top of the flooring, not hidden as is recommended by the manufacturer. Gaps were left in between the boards. The floor was damaged by the installers tools. This is a nightmare. Carpet Kings corporate representative was rude & argumentive. Waste of time, money & patience.

I have used Carpet King and I too had a problem with a nylon carpet. I was told it is the best fiber. They sent an inspector out and he agreed that the carpet had failed. They replaced the carpet at no cost and we have had the carpet now for three years and it looks like new. The staff at Carpet King went above and beyond to keep us informed every step of the way. Great service !!! Not to mention their price was very competitive! I recommend them every chance I get.

Mark is consistent and pleasant. The order and install went smoothly. I don't like the fact that they aren't able to give a time range for install but overall, it went smoothly.

Every experience from pricing to installation was unorganized and miscommunicated. Not what you expect when spending thousands. I should have stuck to Home Depot.

They've always done a good job with my last 2 homes. Timely, competitive prices and financing. Legit!

Installers sent in by Carpet King were terrible. They broke a light fixture and initially claimed they didn't do it. We've been pounding in staples for days after stepping on them. I have sore feet. They also didn't clean up very well.

I went in to them asking for a carpet that is for high traffic and that will last for a long time as carpet is spendy. I was sold a 100 percent nylon carpet that was a bur bur style and after 6 months it is all ready worn in the places we walk on. I am very disappointed and I called to tell them I should not see wear marks all ready. they sent some dude to look at it and he states there is nothing wrong with it. They are not doing anything to help fight for a warranty to be used. What is the point to pay for one if they will not except it. I am confused on how a carpet after 6 months with a family of 4 and one medium dog will wear carpet that fast. This company sucks at taking care of there clients. Do not try to cut corners on cheaper places that do not stand behind there products. Pay the extra and go down the street to through bred carpet. I know a worker there and they are always willing to help you. Carpet king/trade direct is horrible company!
