I really appreciated the open, no-pressure, option-oriented approach of the manager Michael I worked with from the beginning. I learned a great deal and felt able to make an informed decision. They worked within my time frame and Steve the installer was professional, efficient, and my floor looks fantastic!

I write this to sincerely appreciate Jim Harris for his outstanding Customer service. He is very flexible and has a great patience in dealing with customer matters. I had different choices of Flooring companies and flooring products but Jim had been able change my mind and gave me confidence to give my LVP floor project to Carpet King, Saint Louis Park Location. Also would like to mention that I am very happy with his professionalism showed in the follow up after a sale.

After Home Depot dropped the ball, these guys came through with flying colors. Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Everything was delivered on time and the installer really went the extra mile. We're customers for life. Thanks!!!

Heather was very easy to work with and SO helpful! She made sure our carpet got ordered and that everything went well. There was a slight mixup on installation day, and when I called Heather, she made sure the problem got solved immediately! Her priority is customer satisfaction! Terrible. We actually had to fire them and they did not complete the job. Most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. They continued to order the wrong product on multiple occasions. We had to hire a different company to come and finish the job. They also damaged our bathroom floor as they incorrectly tore up the tile in the bathroom that we had to replace. They offered no assistance in making it right. In fact they wanted to charge us to have them come back and fix it. We also went to great lengths to verify what was included in our install. We have emails from their staff showing what we were promised was not delivered that they wanted to charge us for. We will be sharing these on social media. We made the decision to go with them based on the pricing they gave us. We made a business decision based on the pricing and facts they provided. Unfortunately they did not come through and honor it. Again we have email communication with them that validates our issues. What's dissapointing is how they have tried to handle the situation. Instead of trying to find solutions to help finish the job the store manager only provided excuses instead of solutions. In fact this is the same experience we had with our sales rep. The owner of this store should be embarrassed by how their employees interact with customers.

We installed new carpet in our bedroom, closet and office. We were very picky about the type of carpet for pets and the color and texture. We went back and forth for months trying to decide. Marti helped us pick out our carpet and assured us the installation would be top of the line. We were extremely happy with our selection! Marti followed through on every detail of the project. We would buy from her again in the future.

I was looking at options for my new condo

Our salesperson was personable, knowledgable and professional.We are very happy with the carpet and pad and the installation is excellent.We have made several purchases from Carpet King over the years and will continue to do so.Very satisfied.

We were looking to get new carpet and tile in a timely manner. Carpet King was able to get in to measure and get us a carpet installed much faster than other places I checked out. Our salesperson Michael was always readily available and was able to help us through the process. There was an issue with our initial carpet being backordered. They made it right by offering us a slightly nicer carpet at the same price. This isn't something that they had to do considering we were in a pinch, but it's what they should have done. Because of that, Carpet King is highly recommended by us and we will go back there with future needs.

Our carpet was ruined by a local carpet cleaner. We reached out to Carpet King since they had replaced the carpet for us when we first bought the home. Karsten was a pleasure to work with and he got our carpet replaced extremely fast. Never had any issues and everything went great both times I used them to carpet my home.

Carpet King did an awesome job with all of my carpet needs for my new chiropractic clinic! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Michael, Madison and Carston were all very helpful!

Amazing customer service! There was an unexpected issue with my carpet the day of my install. Marti worked with corporate to come up with a great solution. Carpet was installed as planned and looks great!

This was a last minute deal and marti and other staff made it happen. The measure and installer were great. The only place to do this kind of business!!

Product met our expectations. Very happy with installation. Only issue was with scheduler who made little effort to keep us informed. Ended up taking a month longer than initially discussed . Regret having to pay in full prior to installation which left us powerless.

St Louis Park Carpet King gave us excellent advise about carpeting and flooring that we used for a bathroom and kitchen remodel. The carpet installer was prompt, courteous and did a very neat job installing our living room carpet

Updated review. Yesterday I rated this company 5 stars. In my review I explained that there was a problem with the installation (several problems, including the installers throwing the old carpet off the 5th floor balcony and moving the and not resetting the balcony swing) but when I called the company Heather apologized profusely and assured me that Marti in customer service would make sure the swing was put back. Well, an appointment was set to move the swing but they never called or came. While I gave them the benefit of the doubt in my earlier review, I must say I can no longer give them a good review. The sales experience was great but the installation and service were unsatisfactory.

Had a really poor experience. These folks are brokers of flooring product and the services to get them installed. And now I remember why we don’t use brokers - because once you engage with them you lose control over the process, such as the ability to purchase your supplies, to compare install quotes, to hold your providers accountable. If you don’t like your Carpet King rep... too bad... you’re stuck with them through the process even if they aren’t friendly or knowledgeable or even competent. We don’t use travel agents to book travel, or order content lenses from the eye doctor, etc etc. so why would we use a broker for our flooring?? I’ve done other projects since and would recommend going to Menards to purchase product and then getting their list of vetted professionals to hire for installing.

Heather Erickson was very helpful in assisting my wife and I with our carpet selection. She also followed through and made sure we had top installers for the carpet installation. We will be looking for Heather when we purchase our living room carpet this coming year.

AMAZING experience! I learned far more with Marti than I did at another carpet seller. She helped me navigate to the right stuff for our lifestyle (dogs). I felt like she was trying to make sure we picked out stuff that was going to work with us, not just get a sale. And since this was an HRA City Loan there were added hurdles that they jumped through to get us what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with choosing them. Added bonus we didn't have to move the couches, paid them to do. Who knew that was a thing! So glad she told me about that service.

Excellent service and installation. Jim Harris did a great job in assisting me in getting me the right carpeting for our home. My mother, recently diagnosed with a form or Parkinson's needed short nap carpeting for her balance issues. Jim really came through for us as he arranged the carpet installed before her return from the hospital. The installation was done quickly by a master. We get compliments every time someone comes to visit. I can't say enough about how kind and compassionate Jim and the entire staff were. Thank you Jim! Sincerely, Michael Walsh

I just had carpet installed this morning. I wont even mention the problems prior to this. Just the damage DURING INSTALLATION. They must have rubbed the carpet against my leather sectional, because the back is so scratched up its frayed in areas. My $8K sectional that's a year old. We saved for that for so long! I can't believe it. He also didn't wear shoe covers. Its raining today and mud/ dirt is tracked all over my house, including my off white persian rug in the living room. To top it off, my house smells like cigarette smoke. Way more damage done than this stupid carpet is worth. I'll be calling as soon as this store opens.
