Flooring Expo by Carpet King

We had an excellent experience with this company! Joe was an amazing liaison, and his commitment to customer service was outstanding. The installation crew was fantastic as well. They arrived on time, completed the installation, cleaned up everything, and made sure we were completely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for excellent service and a great overall experience!

They were in and out in less than two hours. Very pleasant did excellent work highly recommend.

Avoid them at all costs. We hired Carpet Expo to install baseboards in a ~120 sqft room. Three tries, still not done:Attempt 1: Wrong color baseboards delivered, then they ripped out a piece of our original trim to “match it” and never bothered installing it back. It’s just gone.Attempt 2: Their installer came again, still the wrong color (brown instead of golden oak) - and started cutting the wrong material in our garage anyway. Even after all that, the pieces weren’t long enough to finish the room.Attempt 3: They just didn’t show up. No call, no explanation. Ghosted us completely. When my husband called their office they were surprised and had “no idea how it could happen”To make it worse, we’re a family of first responders working rotating shifts, so coordinating time off to be home for these appointments is genuinely difficult. Every failed or missed visit isn’t just an inconvenience; it costs us hours of scheduling around already unpredictable work hours that we could spend with our family. We’re now trying to get a refund and all we get is “tomorrow we’ll figure it out,” over and over, with no actual resolution in sight. A disaster, do not do business with them.

The carpets look fantastic & the installers were great!

Over the past 23 years we've had two great experiences with Carpet King for carpeting and wood flooring, and now in 2026 our third time with then was awesome. Marti Runeborg was joy to work with -- she communicates very well, is great at explaining choices, and did a great job of helping us figure out, from a vast number of possibilities, the carpet options that would work well for our large living room -- and she was patient with all of our questions! I have allergy issues so I was very impressed that they offered to air out the carpeting over a weekend in their warehouse before installation, definitely helped. The installers were amazing, worked so hard and so efficiently so everything looks and feels great. We love our new carpet and have had compliments from visitors. Superior customer service and quality products!

I couldn’t be more thankful for what Flooring Expo was able to do for us! They were very responsive and respectful. Mike was patient as he helped my two grandsons pick out new carpet for their rooms. They worked hard to get out carpet delivered and installed quickly in light of our unique situation. The installer was wonderful and did a great job. He was fast yet maintained high quality work. I will be calling them again for any new flooring needs!

Once again, Flooring Expo and Marti provided excellent service. We had installers arriving on Monday and, due to international travel, we weren’t available to select & purchase the flooring until Sunday. Marti helped us select flooring that was both in stock & matched well within our color scheme. She ensured that it would be available at the warehouse for pickup first thing Monday morning and connected us with someone to deliver it directly to our condo. Marti is very attentive, customer oriented and great at helping with color/pattern selection. I highly recommend Flooring Expo in Blaine for your flooring needs.

The new Blaine location on Cloud Drive is a hidden gem. Marti was amazing and has a wealth of knowledge. We ordered new carpet and the turnaround was quicker than expected. The crew that did the tear out and install was very professional and cleaned everything up nicely. We love our new carpet! Would highly recommend Flooring Expo.

They were able to do our entire upstairs in 2 days. They were very courteous and took care of our items that they moved for us. They showed up when they said they would be here. They were very clean and cleaned up after themselves. They were very competitive with their pricing. I strongly encourage you to check them out.

We had an unbelievably phenomenal experience with Flooring Expo! Our sales professional Joe is the best in the business. We recently went through Flooring Expo by Carpet King to select and install new carpet throughout our new home purchase. At the store level Joe did a wonderful job helping us select the best option for our needs. He was very knowledgeable of his product, and was efficient in measuring and scheduling around our unique situation. The install went smoothly, and was completed in less than 24 hrs. Any issues that did arise were taken care of quickly and professionally. We will be using Flooring Expo in Blaine again for our future flooring needs. Highly recommend if you're in the market for new flooring of any kind.

Everyone was very helpful, Joe and Marty made sure everything worked from beginning of the project until it was complete.

We had an exceptional experience working with Joe at Flooring Expo, Blaine store on Cloud Drive, and I would highly recommend them for your LVP or carpeting needs for so many reasons. Joe’s personality and style — his caring and kindness, lightness, and sense of humor where we never felt pressure, combined with his essential knowledge and experience in flooring just worked so well for us as we navigated the decision-making on this important investment. The store is small enough to get unparalleled, personal attention each time we visited yet big enough where they have a wide range of high-quality brands and products to choose from. Being able to work with Joe and the team to understand the products, the many options, to feel free to take samples home to see in our environment, combined with Flooring Expo’s excellent pricing and their lifetime warranty, all led to our decision of buying Coretec Norwegian Maple LVP from this store, which was then installed by a really skilled crew in less than a day. The floor is absolutely gorgeous. We are so glad that after visiting some bigger flooring and box stores that carry LVP, due to a chance recommendation from a contractor we met, we stopped in at Flooring Expo on Cloud Drive, and we highly recommend them.

We had LVP floors installed by flooring expo, they did a great job!

I had both LVP and carpet installed. Both crews gave me a 35-40 minute message prior to arrival. Both crews were respectful of my property and my home was left in good shape after both installs. The LVP crew texted questions, pictures and updates to keep me informed. Very pleased with both crews and the service received.

Great experience all around. Honest pricing, excellent workmanship, and the floors turned out beautiful. Would absolutely use them again.

Very happy.
