The carpet order came in quick and the installation was also scheduled quickly. They were on time and efficient with the end product beautiful!

We needed our stairway to the lower level recarpeted so we went to Flooring Expo in Apple Valley to check on carpet selection, and installation. Deshawn Smith was very helpful with finding a nice carpet in a good color and at a very reasonable price. We proceeded to order the carpet and within about 10 days the carpet was ready to be installed. We picked a time in a few days for the install and our installer, Nelson came on time with an associate and together they had the new carpet installed in a quick and professional manner in less than 2 hours. They cleaned up quickly and we are very pleased with the result. We will go back to Flooring Expo with any future carpet needs. Jim B

I am a repeat customer of Carpet King, and would recommend it to others. Dashaun is thorough, responsive and always has a grasp on the project! He suggested flooring that met our vision, requirements and budget. He helped with taking an overwhelming amount of selections down to a focused selection and then streamlined the process to install!

Sales experience was good. Attentive, patient, happy to help. But missed a couple critical items like subfloor expense and ordering all the right materials. Bought carpet and LVP for entire main and upstairs. Install quality of carpet was okay- wish they would have focused on addressing some squeaks. LVP install quality was just plainly bad. Damaged trim, damaged door jambs, ramps in a few places (they claim the floors didn't need any leveling, but the install guide of the LVP said otherwise - one ramp didn't meet the flatness guidelines). Tried to add $1300 to bill at LVP install to add extra subfloor, which was never mentioned during process. Quality of install not great. Squeaks in a few spots, relied heavily on quarter round to cover workmanship, list goes on. Lots more to say here but overall I wouldn't go here again for hard flooring. Carpet process went well, so that I can recommend.

Dashaun was a huge help from initial consult to formal measurement and quote. The entire process from order to install took less than a week and the finished result looks great. The installers matched up direction of the carpet pattern including tricking winding stairs perfectly.

Dashaun was great to work with at Flooring Expo. He came to our house with samples, measured quickly and was able to get a quote on the spot. I opted for a Mohawk SmartStrand carpet with 1/2" pad. I did receive another quote which was less, but Dashaun matched their bid. The install team was courteous, on time, and treated our home and furnishings like their own. Our whole home was completed in one day. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we have purchases carpet fro Flooring Expo for our house. Deshaun from the Apple Valley store was so polite and professional. We had our carpet installed in about 1 week from ordering. The carpet installers were hard working and meticulous. Will definitely purchase flooring from them again in the future.

Very pleased with the service we received when we first entered your store in Apple Valley MN. We were greeted right away and also every time we came back with floor samples. Your manager DaShawn ( I apologize if I mis-spell his name) was a gentleman and was very knowledgeable about each product we were looking at! He gave us time to look, we didn’t feel rushed or pressured! He checked back with us a few times after that. Kept us in the loop with the order and approximate delivery. We couldn’t be more please. When we are ready to replace carpet in our home, my husband and I plan on going back to your Apple Valley MN store! Thank you very much. We will definitely recommend your store!

Good prices on mainstream flooring. Went with Coretec since it’s a well known brand with a good warranty. The sales person, Deshaun, was very responsive and “saved” the sale when I was about to go with another company, he asked for the numbers and flooring specs and wrote up another quote to beat his competitor! There was quite a bit of confusion about the sub floor during my quote and purchase agreement —whether it was in decent enough condition to lay floor on. In the end it wasn’t, and needed a large expensive repair costing us more time and money than we had budgeted for unfortunately. I would just make sure your floor is super level before getting too excited about having a crew come in and do “minor” prep work. Other than that issue which really was frustrating, the process was quick and Deshaun has been great at communicating and helping us with each and every question along the way. Would use them again.

Usually your front end sales team promises you one thing then the install crew does the opposite of what you signed up for. Was so pleased w our conversation w Dashaun at the store and Carlos and his team with the install! Love the carpet! Will do business again!
