Overall, this carpet purchase was a great experience. Dashaun really knew his stuff and helped us pick out a great carpet at a decent price that beat out the competition. The installation took a bit longer than anticipated, but I appreciate that they stayed late to finish the job same day. My only complaint is the time it took to receive the carpet. We had hoped to have it installed before our move in date and were assured it would be available, but it was backordered, and we had to wait nearly a month to get it. That said, the carpet looks and feels great, and it was well worth the price and wait. If you are looking for someone who knows flooring inside and out, I highly recommend Dashaun.

The product selection is great, but the staff is even better. Dashaun helped me through the entire flooring process from selection, to install, and finishes. He never dropped the ball and provided the best customer service I've had in a long time. His attention to detail and my needs was like a thing of the past, when customer service meant just that. I once asked him if he'd ever considered going into politics...and I meant that in the best way possible, because he was all about the people! Jonathon was also attentive to any issues, seeing the project through until I was completely satisfied. In the end, my floors look fantastic. Deciding type, brand & color of flooring along with selling our home, the purchase of a new home and scheduling new flooring installations, (before our official move in date), all at the same time!... was a bit stressful to say the least. Showroom manager, Dashaun Smith, at the Apple Valley location was the best. His knowledge of the many flooring choices available was very helpful to us in deciding which ones would be best for us. Dashaun stayed on top of this entire process by coordinating with suppliers, installers & our new home closing dates to expedite our official move in date. We always had easy access to him thru email or via phone with a quick response. Working with Dashaun defiantly removed a tremendous amount of stress on us as we worked thru this process. There is no doubt in our minds that this young man will have a long & successful career to look forward to!

The beginning service was good, but after installation and having scratches within a week on the floor and when I asked how to resolve it was told to contact manufacturer's, but contact information was never given prior, during or after installation. Several month later Flooring Expo finally worked with me on scratches the new flooring had within a year of installation and apparently manufacturer declined the claim stating that they do not cover scratches and wear.. Wear? Less than a year old flooring, which is priced well above average? I was recommended to hire an independent inspector and they will be happy to reopen the claim. What a joke. Apparently Flooring Expo selling low quality flooring at the higher price, might as well go to Menards or Home Depot as quality is the same or who knows might be even better for less money.

The team was great to work with. They accommodated our schedule when we had some uncontrollable things come up that delayed us being able to install our carpet right away. The customer service we received from the guys at the Apple Valley was phenomenal! I definitely will recommend anyone looking for flooring to go to Flooring Expo and talk to the team at that location. The install was also amazing! The crew of 3 was very friendly and removed, then installed the carpet very quickly! We had most of our house redone approximately 1400 square feet. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our experience with Flooring Expo!

Had a full house of carpet installed several months ago, and wanted to let things settle in before reviewing. Deshaun did a great job of handling the estimate and following up. Pricing was competitive and the carpet quality overall seems good. There was a problem with the installation schedule, as on the day of installation I was told no crew was set up on the schedule. This snafu was due to new employees filling in while Deshaun was out, but I understand that this happens. We were able to get in contact that day with a woman who was able to get us scheduled just a day later (wish I could remember her name as she went above and beyond for us, even following up to be sure the crew had arrived). I'd rate the installation as barely average, edges near floor boards not tucked very well. A few stairs (in the most easily seen area) have what looks like a hard crease showing in the middle that gives the impression that the carpet used was folded in transit or some time prior to installation. Was hoping this would eventually lay flat, but it hasn't. Not sure that I would recommend.

I scheduled an appointment in advance with a good window of work from 5 to 7 pm and the appointment was cancelled at 6 pm because they were delayed doing some other work and would not be able to make it. I received a call at 230 pm, earlier than I would think so I missed it, with a message to call back but nothing mentioning possible cancellation. That is quite disappointing as me and husband made plans in our personal and work schedule to be available during that time and now would have to reschedule. Really? This makes me wonder how would the work be done reliably and on time if the team cannot make it to the in home consultation. You would think they would plan locations of services and available times well... It is so much about the first impression with costumer service. I did not feel respected as a potential new costumer.

We absolutely love our flooring from Flooring Expo. We looked at multiple flooring stores before deciding to with Flooring Expo and DaShaun. He was the biggest reason we chose this store. DaShaun was extremely knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. He made us feel comfortable to ask questions and provided us with information to make the best choice for us. He was very communicative when it came to installation and follow up. We ended up a little short for a transition piece and DaShaun made sure to get us an additional piece to finish our floors. We love our floors and throughly enjoyed working with DaShaun.
