Joe came to my home and measured my porch, during the State Fair, when traffic was an issue. He provided good advice on what to install. The installation was done by a very kind professional.He did an excellent job.

Flooring Expo ruined my kitchen floor. To start they measured wrong and had to reorder the material. Installers did not under- cut the door trim for a nice neat job.Instead they tried to free-hand and cut around the trim. Results were a disaster. Photos will show this.They did not use enough floor leveling product to level out the existing embossed floor. There are ripples that show over the entire floor. The photos do not clearly show this.They had to come back to roll out the floor because of air pockets. One of the photos shows a cut mark and where I tried to fill in the void with caulk. They were in over their heads with this job. There profit my loss.

We have used Flooring Expo twice and both times had wonderful experiences. The representatives are knowledgeable, the installation is fast, and the carpet looks great!

Very mixed feelings ..... The purchase experience was great. Alex in the Roseville store was awesome and took great care of us so we did the purchase ... from there things went a bit south.Come install day, no contact from the installers so I called the Roseville store. Alex had the day off and the guy I spoke with basically told me the installers would call before they came and we were probably later in the day. I guess he was too busy to check the scheduling system.At 3:30 I called the main store and spoke with Marti (the manager).The carpet that was supposed to be in the warehouse was not available. If fact they also forgot to call us to get us know they weren't coming and had to order more carpet from the mill. Now a 2+ week delay.Of course we emptied out both bedrooms so we had to sleep in the basement spare bedroom.Marti said she would make it right and offered to have the installers move all the furniture back into the bedrooms free of charge and also offered to have the leftover piece bound so we would use it as a runner for the hallway. Unfortunately the remaining pieces were too small for a runner ..... bummer.Install day .... a very nice couple (my assumption) worked really hard and did a great job on the install. Of course the furniture move wasn't on their work order so I called Marti's cell and the store .... no answer on either phone and left a message on both. No return call.My wife and I then had to move all the furniture back to the bedrooms.

I worked with Killian on my carpet project and the entire process was seamless. I am so happy with how everything turned out. If I do another flooring project I will for sure be contacting him again!

Killian was so great from start to finish. He followed up and kept us informed throughout the entire process! He was patient when I was trying to pick out a carpet style and color and suggested bringing samples into different lighting throughout the home. The process was easy and smooth and we are SO happy with the final product of both our carpet and bathroom tile!

My son Matt and I bought a duplex and are redoing all the floors. This business was recommended to us by my other son, FH councilman Eric Meyer, who purchased flooring and installation for his residence and was very well pleased.I was very impressed with the knowledge and help at the store and I have to say that the sales person, Killian worked with us on several visits, and I thought he was just excellent. He was straightforward and honest and went over and above what a usual salesperson would do in looking for special deals, warehouse overstock items, and different ways to meet our tight budget demands. (Actually, I am the tight one!) Flooring Expo is the worst ever! Stay away from! Tried to get the quote after Alex came out, said we'd have it that day, no luck! Been a week now, still no quote!! I called two times, talked to two people said I'd get the quote? Still no quote! Stay AWAY!!

Ryan the salesperson was really helpful with suggestions and communication. The installation team was prompt and courteous. Did an excellent job!

Not impressed. Very poor communication, not timely on installation and the installers were in such a rush to get done they did a sub-par job. Uneven carpet cuts on the steps, cuts too short in some areas and too long in others. Transition areas were so bad we had to hire someone else to come fix them.

My husband came in troubled about his carpeting project and I think the man there named Killian helped him and by the time he got home he was much less stressed. Even excited. I know normally you leave reviews for installation but my husband said he hadn't had a friendly and funny conversation about business in a long time. Thought I'd put it out there. Thank you Killian! I went to the Roseville location and worked with Kai and he was so funny and respectful! Happy I came in to do business!

I invested a premium amount for flooring throughout my home, but unfortunately, the installation process resulted in scratches on the floor. Upon notifying Flooring Expo, they suggested using an "Almond stick" to address the scratches and advised me to check my local Walmart for the product. However, I was uncomfortable with this solution, and they agreed to send a technician to my home to try the Almond stick instead. This attempt was unsuccessful, leading to a second visit where they attempted to replace the damaged area with leftover flooring from the initial installation, but there was insufficient material. After a third visit, they finally managed to cover the patch with an additional piece, completing the repair. This entire process spanned approximately two months, during which I did not receive any compensation for the time I had to take off work to accommodate the workers. Given the significant amount I spent, I found the service to be lacking and will consider other options for future projects.

UPDATING to add: I did get a call from the company after posting this (same day!) with an assurance that the situation would be rectified. They truly seemed concerned about the poor experience we were having. They said someone would be out Monday (today) to finish the things I was promised and lo and behold an installer came today and took care of everything. Upgrading my rating to four stars for the company’s great -and rapid- response to what has been a poor experience due to one individual. Profoundly unhappy with our experience with this company. We ordered carpet for the stairs and our bedroom. We also hired them to install shoe in the basement, put in a transition strip at the patio door and caulk around the fireplace. We were promised and assured multiple times that yes, they would get the transition strip and install it. ALEX TOOKER the salesman even sent a picture of the transition strip to confirm it matched. He assured me he would hand it to the installer personally. ALEX was very personable and responsive right up through us signing on the dotted line which was a Saturday. We heard nothing the following Monday and Tuesday, so I called on Wednesday to check. We were told repeatedly through the sales process that they had a 1-2 day turnaround so I thought surely at least the shoe, transition and caulk should have been scheduled. After I finally heard back from him Wednesday night he said he would have someone out there next day. FRIDAY is when the installer showed up, which was fine, but he had not been told of the caulk or transition strip. This whole experience has been really really crappy, seemingly all due to very poor communicator with their installers and ALEX not following through, and at this point I can only assume lying. It’s also CRAPPY that we got a bill for our purchase (financed through wells Fargo) before the job was even done. I’m hoping and praying that we actually get the last few bits done or at least get the transition strip and last piece of shoe put in. We were short one piece and Alex assured me numerous times that yes they could do it no problem. I’ll update if things get taken care of. But for now I’d avoid this place like the plague. Nobody likes being deceived like that!!!!!!

The install crew came back a 2nd time without notifying my daughter they would come after 5 PM, to remove an underpad that initially my daughter had them leave, because she misunderstood what the process was. Now the store will not come back or reimburse me the portion I paid to have the pad removed. Dealing with the main store personnel has been the worst part, refusing to solve an issue and argued with me about it.

These guys were great! I live with my brother and he got flooring. This carpet is. The grey color compliments the walls well. I think my brother worked with a guy named Ryan. It was great service. Definitely coming back when I get my own house.

Great carpet buying experience! We were happy from walking in the door initially to take a look, all the way through walking into our bedroom for the 1st time after install. The two installers we had were incredibly attentive, respectful and professional. They both deserve a raise! We highly recommend Flooring Expo vs a big box store 100%.

Ryan and the staff at the Roseville location were incredibly kind, patient, and helpful in our process of getting new carpet. We would highly recommend working with Ryan! 5 stars for our experience once we started working with him. We first had a poor experience with salesman Mike who had done our in-home consultation. We tried working with him but felt like Mike’s communication was lacking and he handled conversations rather unprofessionally.

We had carpet installed in our basement, sheet vinyl installed in our laundry room and luxury vinyl plank installed in the rest of our house. I chose Flooring Expo over another flooring place because of how long they’ve been around and because I believed they would stand by their warranty. What I didn’t realize is that it would be outside crews contracted for each of the projects and that means the quality of work & communication varies widely. The LVP crew was great and the floor turned out beautiful despite them leaving little metal headless nails all over which two of my kids got hurt from. The carpet crew carpeted the stairs they were instructed to leave uncarpeted, dented our rain gutter which we were told would get resolved and never did, and left our house unlocked with no communication that they were done. The sheet vinyl in the laundry room was supposed to put trim down (which we paid for) to ensure the edges don’t come up in the future but they did not. I called our point person/salesperson, Mike, for two months & was told he would have someone come back to add trim and have someone contact me about our dented gutter and neither got resolved. If you are choosing them for warranty, be careful because it doesn’t seem that they care to resolve issues once they’ve got your money. Super disappointing because I really appreciated the salesperson Mike’s communication throughout the decision making process. Once the contract was signed, though, he was hard to get a hold of and did not follow through with resolving issues. I would not recommend them based off of the inconsistent quality of the crews they hire and the fact that if you do have an issue arise, they will not fix it. I’ve given up after 4 months. If they fixed issues my review would be much different.

Anita made my shopping experience much easier with her great personality. Anita listened to my "key word" as I descripted the look and feel I wanted. I got the dreamy carpet I wanted in my price range. I will go back to Anita when I am ready for carpets in the remaining rooms. Thanks Anita!!!!

I do not in any way shape or form recommend using this company for your flooring needs. We had to help the installers move the furniture they were hired to move. We never got a call on the day of install they just showed up at random with no notice and no time of arrival. They took a large gouge out of our existing kitchen flooring when installing our carpet and when they were ask how they were going to fix it they came out and put what looks like an office trim piece over the existing trim piece to cover the gouge as a bandaid and called it good! The day the came to "fix" the issues they created they were scheduled to come out to our house at 2:30 the afternoon because that's when we would be home and called to ask if they could come out at 8:30am. The appointment setter called us on the day of the appointment telling us she was out of the office that day but hopes that everything was taken care of the day before!? We live in a mobile home and when they installed the carpet then didn't compensate for any of the flooring seams so you can feel ever one of them under the new carpet that you couldn't feel before. I am not pleased with the service we received at all.

Recently used Flooring Expo Roseville. Great experience from start to finish. Excellent customer service from Anita, quality product and quality installation from Alex! Would absolutely recommend them and would use again!

I was previously working with a competitor, and glad I have Flooring Expo by carpet king as there service was 10x better!
