Flooring Expo by Carpet King

Took four weeks from the first date to last date of installation. Four weeks of having our living room torn apart. Three days off of work (so far, we have to do another one now to have things fixed but no guarantees it will be fixed). The first installation day they didn't have the baseboards or the correct transition pieces so couldn't finish the project. The second installation day (scheduled two weeks later), the installer said he didn't have all the materials (transition pieces) and wasn't paid to do that piece. By the third installation date, they had brought most of the correct pieces except a garage door transition piece we had paid for but by that point we just needed our living room to be livable again so had them finish what he could. In the end, we were left with poor installation quality with the baseboards being uneven and transition pieces coming up. I had to leave several voice messages that were never returned over weeks. Eventually, I got in contact with someone who said I can email photos of the installation which i did. One week later I recieved a response that they could come check it out in December. I really wish i had read the reviews before going through this company. The entire process for installation and customer service has been hell and a waste of money. The only good thing was the experience with the sales rep who came to our house. Please avoid if you can. I would recommend if you like their flooring styles, having the free consultation then get the flooring information and order it yourself and pay someone else to install it. It will be much cheaper and will avoid all the drama. We ordered our flooring in September. It's now the end of November and out out floors are still not up to professional standards. The worst part is the customer service that has not made any of the experience right.

Scheduling install is like working with the cable company. Be prepared to lose a fair amount of work scheduling around a 3 hour window just waiting for a call to tell you when that day they will be there.

They showed up on time and did a awesome job installing our carpet. They also did a great job cleaning up, and vacuumed the carpet before leaving. We will be definitely call them again for are living room carpet!

Great sales person. Worked with me when carpet was ready to install but my remodel ran behind. Matched lowest price I found for carpet I wanted. Only one minor problem: installers covered a vent. But when I called rep, installer called me back within minutes and job was completed promptly.

Carpet installed on stairs are not done correctly. Complaint was brought to sales rep but no answer yet.

I will never recommend Carpet King to anyone! told me they would do something about a finance issue, never did. They don't follow thru on what they tell you. My recommendation, quit lying!!! Fix what you did so people that finance don't get ripped off!!!

We ordered vinyl flooring as well as carpeting for minimal areas. Jim at the Apple Valley location was very helpful in getting us quality materials for the budget we had. He was able to get our product and installation scheduled in the tight time frame we were looking for. The installers were polite, professional, and very hard working! We will definitely be using them again!

They went above and beyond to get me a carpet I found elsewhere at a great price, and the installers were top notch, thorough and professional. Would highly recommend.

My experience was great working with Toni at the Roseville store! She made sure everything was taken care of for me! I will definitely go back to her in the future!! She sent the best team of artisans to put the wood floor in! Ask for Pavel’s team! They all did excellent work and went the extra mile: they had to take my accordion-style closet doors off to put in the floor. When they put them back on, they slide better than they ever did!!! I even suspect someone adjusted my hanging blinds! They REALLY care about the quality of their work!! Thank you all!

The entire process was highly satisfactory. From the knowledgeable and friendly sales associate to the incredible installer. The actual install of my garage floor coating was excellent. The installers were very nice guys. The only frustration was the installation was delayed by 2 days due to an installer being sick.

Worst experience of our life! The Carpet was promised to us on Thursday and when it came down to it, they could get any installers until Friday. Install was supposed to be at 10:30 on Friday:however, they only sent 1 installer and a helper and they didn’t arrive until 1:30 on a Friday for a 7-8 hour install job! Can’t believe they sent 1 installer and a helper! Worst company and worse experience! Made our move to our new townhome a colossal nightmare! Because they delayed us a day, the moving company had to put all our furniture in the kitchen! Extremely unprofessional! Last place I would ever order carpet or flooring from!!!
