Carla, Mike, Heather and the friendly staff also at the St. Louis Park store were helpful to us in finding ZERO VOC (I believe it is Mohawk air.o New Beginning I) carpet that would work in our living room without adhesive. We had a couple issues we noticed after the installers left: apparently a quarter size bit of glue or adhesive had gotten into the fibers in the middle of a roll (?) and hardened before they delivered/installed it, and there were gaps in the corners of the step showing the attached underpad. But Giuliano and Carla worked with me and the installer came back and re-worked the step corners tightly and to our satisfaction. He was also able to carefully clip the hard gluey fibers out of the carpet without it showing or affecting the warranty. He was unable to repair a chip and scratches in the wood trim that happened during their removal of our old carpet, but between that issue and a mistake on a charge for moving furniture that we actually moved out of the room ourselves pre-installation, Flooring Expo compensated us financially on our final bill. We still feel like you can see the seam slightly between the two installed sections of carpet, but overall we're satisfied with the project. I found the staff pleasant, courteous, professional and willing to make things right. Carla, particularly, called frequently and kept us up to date at every stage of the process. I think I would recommend them to a friend and I'd consider using them again.
