Flooring Expo by Carpet King

I had engineered floors (ProPlus VV017-01016/Laguna Oak) installed on the main level of my house (entry way, dining room, kitchen and living room) and am really pleased with the quality of the product and the start-to-finish process of the project: knowledge and assistance from sales associate, scheduling for install, install process and the follow-up post installation! The demo and install only took 2 days?!? And, the installers were so nice and mindful of our house and neighbors. I really appreciated that. I was somewhat reluctant to install engineered floors, but I'm so glad I made the decision! The new floor has been in place for over 2 months and just about everything that you could imagine would happen with 3 cats and a toddler has happened and not a single scratch, discoloration or stain?!?!?! My daughter managed to even color on the floor with a permanent marker!!! I almost passed out when I saw it, but with a little bit of dawn soap and elbow grease, I got it out! My biggest reluctance with engineered floors was around the design and if it would look like real wood flooring. The texture and color of the floors looks so much like real oak. It has shades of grey and brown, so during the day with natural light, more of the grey tones pop and during night with ambient lighting, the warm brown pops. The grain design and color looks timeless. I'm so happy with this, that I'm thinking about replacing the flooring on the second level. I can't wait to see how it will hold up to salt and snow during winter.

We installed new carpet in our bedroom, closet and office. We were very picky about the type of carpet for pets and the color and texture. We went back and forth for months trying to decide. Marti helped us pick out our carpet and assured us the installation would be top of the line. We were extremely happy with our selection! Marti followed through on every detail of the project. We would buy from her again in the future.

Our salesperson was personable, knowledgable and professional. We are very happy with the carpet and pad and the installation is excellent. We have made several purchases from Carpet King over the years and will continue to do so. Very satisfied.

Helpful customer service.

I was looking at options for my new condo

They over charged us. They charged us for pieces that were never installed. They damaged our walls. They will not refund our money. I have been trying for 5 months and they clearly don't care or want me as a customer.

If I could give them a zero I would. All they are good at is taking your money. Measurements were wrong and they tried to pin it on me. I wanted my patterned carpet going a specific way and they never seemed to care. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you want the worst customer service ever. This entire company is horrible.

Great price, turn around time and super skilled installer!

We’ve been to multiple places such as menards, Home Depot, and fleet farm to find the best deals and carpet king was the best! We walked in when they were having their 50% off deal on insulation and free installation! Not only did the deal was good but Heather, the customer service rep was wonderful. She went out of her way to help us through the entire process. When we ran into a problem, Heather was nice enough to comfort us and ensure quality help. Heather has the best customer service of all places we’ve went to, even when compared to the other Carpet King locations. If you need carpet done, I recommend heading over to the Carpet King located in Savage Minnesota to get help from Heather. Also the carpet installer Pablo is an artist when it comes to carpet installation. Within 5 hours he finished installing carpet in all our rooms, stairs, and living room. He did it with precision beauty. What a guy!!!!

Home Depot completely screwed me over on an installation at the last moment while I was trying to sell my house. I went to Carpet King, explained the situation, and they were incredible! They found me a better quality flooring, got the measurement guy out the next morning, and had the flooring installed within days. They did it cheaper than Home Depot too! These guys were incredibly helpful. Highly recommend them.

Fun, knowledgeable sales team! They are a Stainmaster flooring center with a "if it stains, we replace" program..... any stain! That's the golden ticket with my busy family.

I really appreciated the open, no-pressure, option-oriented approach of the manager Michael I worked with from the beginning. I learned a great deal and felt able to make an informed decision. They worked within my time frame and Steve the installer was professional, efficient, and my floor looks fantastic!

I write this to sincerely appreciate Jim Harris for his outstanding Customer service. He is very flexible and has a great patience in dealing with customer matters. I had different choices of Flooring companies and flooring products but Jim had been able change my mind and gave me confidence to give my LVP floor project to Carpet King, Saint Louis Park Location. Also would like to mention that I am very happy with his professionalism showed in the follow up after a sale.

After Home Depot dropped the ball, these guys came through with flying colors. Absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Everything was delivered on time and the installer really went the extra mile. We're customers for life. Thanks!!!

Heather was very easy to work with and SO helpful! She made sure our carpet got ordered and that everything went well. There was a slight mixup on installation day, and when I called Heather, she made sure the problem got solved immediately! Her priority is customer satisfaction! The installation team was great, very polite and hardworking. We are very happy with our new carpet! Thank you!

Terrible. We actually had to fire them and they did not complete the job. Most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. They continued to order the wrong product on multiple occasions. We had to hire a different company to come and finish the job. They also damaged our bathroom floor as they incorrectly tore up the tile in the bathroom that we had to replace. They offered no assistance in making it right. In fact they wanted to charge us to have them come back and fix it. We also went to great lengths to verify what was included in our install. We have emails from their staff showing what we were promised was not delivered that they wanted to charge us for. We will be sharing these on social media. We made the decision to go with them based on the pricing they gave us. We made a business decision based on the pricing and facts they provided. Unfortunately they did not come through and honor it. Again we have email communication with them that validates our issues. What's dissapointing is how they have tried to handle the situation. Instead of trying to find solutions to help finish the job the store manager only provided excuses instead of solutions. In fact this is the same experience we had with our sales rep. The owner of this store should be embarrassed by how their employees interact with customers.

We were looking to get new carpet and tile in a timely manner. Carpet King was able to get in to measure and get us a carpet installed much faster than other places I checked out. Our salesperson Michael was always readily available and was able to help us through the process. There was an issue with our initial carpet being backordered. They made it right by offering us a slightly nicer carpet at the same price. This isn't something that they had to do considering we were in a pinch, but it's what they should have done. Because of that, Carpet King is highly recommended by us and we will go back there with future needs.

Our carpet was ruined by a local carpet cleaner. We reached out to Carpet King since they had replaced the carpet for us when we first bought the home. Karsten was a pleasure to work with and he got our carpet replaced extremely fast. Never had any issues and everything went great both times I used them to carpet my home.
