Flooring Expo by Carpet King

Wish is would have used a big box store. Stuck with 2 full boxes and one room divider. This stuff is expensive and to end up with half a box is fine but 2 full boxes that I can return for me feels like I am screwed. I am not the one who measured they were. So they should take it back. My salesman was very nice. Also my floor which was twice as much as Home Depot has already has a couple little scratch’s. So fussed it’s good I have the boxes. But to expensive to take it down and scratch’s not that bad. Mostly angry I have expensive boxes they won’t take back. I can see that if I had done my own measurements . I used this store because I wanted to help a smaller type store and was told this was great. Next time I will be more careful making sure I can return

Walked in to this place and I met with old lady who was one of the sales lady, I was asking questions about the vinyl floors but this lady was very rude to me, was very condescending I did not feel very welcomed, so I left and look for another store. They just lost a customer because of some bad customer service. I would never recommend this place.

Kathy was excellent to work with and the carpet was ordered and installed in no time! I’d recommend this company to anyone!

We worked with Alec on the vinyl plank for our remodeling project. He is professional, respectful and patient. The product we chose was initially found in other store, but Alec helped us to get a lower price and faster delivery.We was told by other vender this vinyl plank is a 20mil product, but when we were purchasing it we found the official website was showing a different information. Thanks to Alec and his manager, they made several calls to verify the product information and even offered us a backup plan avoiding any loss of us.The whole experience was pleasant and satisfactory, really appreciate all the works they have done.

Alec was very helpful throughout the process of the purchase and installation of my carpet. He was very knowledgeable of all the pros and cons of each type of carpet and advised me on the best quality for my budget.

Great experience! I worked with Alec. Great costumer service all around. He was very professional and educated in his job field. He answered all of our questions and in a timely fashion. He was also very flexible with my wife and I personal lives and made it a point to work around our schedule which was so important for us. The price for the whole job was very competitive. It wasn’t the cheapest bid we got but for the top notch quality products and service we got it was well worth paying the little bit of extra cash. I Would recommend carpet king to anyone and when I’m due for completing my next job I’ll be going with Alec and carpet king again! Thank You Team Carpet King!

My parents have gotten carpet here for years and have also recommended to many family and friends who haven gotten their carpet through this business. My parents got new carpet in their living room three years ago and it just started bulging up and needed to be stretched. An employee came out to stretch the carpet and ended up putting a hole in the carpet with his machine. He was able to patch the the hole but now it looks funny and when you walk over that spot, you can feel a hard bump in the carpet. My dad called the store to report and they said they couldn’t do anything about it cause the carpet only has a one year warranty. So in conclusion, they came to fix our carpet and wrecked it even more but can’t do anything about it. It is sad to say but we will no longer be going through this company nor will we be recommending them to anyone. After years of our business (and I mean 30+ years) you think they would do better.

Khong helped from beginning to end of our purchasing carpet and luxury vinyl flooring--excellent service and took care of any questions in a timely manner. Very pleased with installers, too-- meticulous about their work--so appreciate that as well as the overall experience. Would definitely purchase from them again.Kristine

We've had both vinyl and carpeting installation done - the most recent was a tricky carpeting job in family room, with big brick fireplace, alcove and the riser for the step up to breakfast room - installers did a great job. Thanks!

(Returning Client) We recently sold our house in one day all THANKS to Khong, Maplewood Flooring Expo. Our previous home had carpets that dated back in 90s (Livin’ house). We had absolutely no hope of even trying to compete with the hot selling market. BUT KHONG -king of Carpets gave us hope that our house will be sold and with the best offer. With his knowledge and professional guidance; carpets was delivered and installed according to deadline was exceptional. 1 day installation and the house was on the market the next day; we had OVER 15 showings scheduled within 24 hrs. Realtor said it was unheard of, and the house was sold in a few hours!!!!! I highly recommend anyone who needs carpet replacement to contact Khong at Flooring Expo in Maplewood, MN. Secondly, We moved into our new home, the house had old carpets but I knew who to call!!! We just got our flooring done and we are one satisfied customer. Overall, great communications! Kong, Sales person, has done a terrific job describing all of my flooring options. He handled the measurements himself -- as well as completed the estimate, ordered my flooring (carpet & tile), and scheduled the installers. He was fantastic to work with & quickly returned my phone calls w/ answers to my questions. 5 Stars. Eric installed the tile in my bathroom & was very professional. When he completed the work, he walked me through everything he did. While working, he was considerate in regards to his traffic, cleaning up his space. 5 Stars. The carpet team showed up 2 days later (as scheduled) and worked hard, focused to complete the project. The area was cleaned of all working debris when the finished. 5 stars.

We had a terrific experience with the Maplewood Carpet King. Mr Kong was a huge help and the installers were experienced and professional. "Free Installation" is what got me there, but the selection, prices and professionalism is what I was most impressed with.

Mr.khong was very helpful . He knoes his carpet and was very attentive in what I wanted . I will recommend to my family and friends . Great place to buy flooring. Also appreciate Giuliano the manager in helping my project go smoothly and working with me.

Susan Whitman was very persistent and not in a good way she made us feel like we got rubbed for are deposit she also didn’t give us a receipt and never went over any of r paper work thank god we ended up going with another company before it was to late and thankfully got a full refund of are deposit which was a heck of allot they had to issue us a check which took a week to get to us wouldn’t recommend them

Kong was a great salesperson. He took his time and showed me a huge variety of samples before I made my decision. He set everything up from start to finish and it went smoothly and on time. The installer was a real professional and did a great job. My advice to anyone looking for carpet or flooring is to stick with the professionals, Carpet King fits this bill. Am planning on doing two more rooms and will be happy to give my business to the pros.

Pricey (30% more than what we ended up spending elsewhere) and wasn't super impressed with the staff. They were nice enough, just weren't great.

The carpet guys called when they were on their way and again about being a bit late. That's OK, we live a ways out of town. When they arrived their gear was carried in and they went right to work. Upon completion, all carpet scraps were removed and the carpet was fully vacuumed. The carpet guys proudly showed me the completed installation. Very professional. Carpet King is my first choice for carpets.

I really like this company. They are very kind and professional. Also, they listen to your concerns. When I get my carpet done in the living room again I will use this company!
