Heather Erickson was very helpful in assisting my wife and I with our carpet selection. She also followed through and made sure we had top installers for the carpet installation. We will be looking for Heather when we purchase our living room carpet this coming year.

AMAZING experience! I learned far more with Marti than I did at another carpet seller. She helped me navigate to the right stuff for our lifestyle (dogs). I felt like she was trying to make sure we picked out stuff that was going to work with us, not just get a sale. And since this was an HRA City Loan there were added hurdles that they jumped through to get us what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with choosing them. Added bonus we didn't have to move the couches, paid them to do. Who knew that was a thing! So glad she told me about that service.

Excellent service and installation. Jim Harris did a great job in assisting me in getting me the right carpeting for our home. My mother, recently diagnosed with a form or Parkinson's needed short nap carpeting for her balance issues. Jim really came through for us as he arranged the carpet installed before her return from the hospital.The installation was done quickly by a master. We get compliments every time someone comes to visit. I can't say enough about how kind and compassionate Jim and the entire staff were. Thank you Jim!Sincerely,Michael Walsh

I just had carpet installed this morning. I wont even mention the problems prior to this. Just the damage DURING INSTALLATION. They must have rubbed the carpet against my leather sectional, because the back is so scratched up its frayed in areas. My $8K sectional that's a year old. We saved for that for so long! I can't believe it. He also didn't wear shoe covers. Its raining today and mud/ dirt is tracked all over my house, including my off white persian rug in the living room. To top it off, my house smells like cigarette smoke. Way more damage done than this stupid carpet is worth. I'll be calling as soon as this store opens.

Horrible experience, never again don’t use them ever!

Second time customer of Carpet King, St Louis Park, MN. Customer service and follow-up was great! Installers were friendly, professional and detail oriented! Excellent all round experience!

We purshased and had made a cash down a payment for the carpet. When we went to the store to sign the agreement the supervisor was there. How rude and unprofessional was she. When she bought up the furniture part of us having to move the furniture. We explained we didn’t know. She immediately was out raged and yelled at us and said well who’s gonna move it we are not!! She then threw her chair back and again yelled at us and said well I was gonna give it to you’s for free. But now I’m not. Well we were not looking for a hand out. And had not asked for one either. We are paying cash. And work hard for our money to throw it away. I don’t know what she was thinking or if she was prejudice. She was sooo UNPROFESSIONAL AND GHETTO SHE WAS THE SUPERVISOR. We said to her NO SWEETIE THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE! We could not believe how rude she was. The part that blew us away was she suppose to be a supervisor. Therefore we asked to cancel the order. And refund our money. This is the Coonrapids Anoka store. And we will take our business elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. However the sales rep Jessica was very polite to us and professional. Her supervisor should not be a supervisor and needs to take herself to anger management. She just lost a customer. WORST experience EVER! Do not buy from Carpet King

I had carpet installed winter 2018. Within month it was showing wear in high traffic areas. Immediately following installation carpet began pulling out. I find pieces of carpet all over the house. At first I thought they were just left over from Instalation. It’s been about 7 months now and the stray fibers continue to show up. It’s obviously not from Instalation. They sent an inspector out to review. His report basically says normal wear and tear. Two people live in the house with very little guests. The carpet should not be falling apart at 6 months. They refused to help now I fear I will need to replace the carpet at my expense.

The only reason I'm not rating them higher is the fact that they charge a handling fee on every purchase. I bought some flooring and was charge a $15 handling fee to go pick it up at their warehouse. I returned to purchase some molding for the flooring and was charges another $15 handling fee. Apparently they aren't making enough on the products. I was also told that if it was shipped to the store it would be a $50 handling fee, each purchase. The salesperson was great to work with and we are happy with the product. Just not sure I will do business with them in the future for that reason.

This store advertises deals on in stock products, the problem is they have nothing in stock. We ordered backsplash tile and they were ordering from a third party as a special order we were required to pay for the product So they could order it. It took over three weeks for the tile to arrive. In the interim Marty called for more money as the order could only be filled in even pallet layers. Another trip and more cash. When Marty called to say the tile had arrived, we made the trip to find Marty had ordered 12 /12 floor tiles. And when he asked for more money, we had had enough. We insisted he fill the order. And two weeks later the tile arrived. If you need tile or flooring stay away from Carpet King.

If you want to keep your sanity, do NOT use this carpet king. I can't even explain the amount of things that went wrong - but bottom line is that we ordered 173 square feet of carpet for three stair cases and IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INSTALLED TWO MONTHS AGO and still is not in. The original installer passed out Christian pamphlets to our neighborhood and other contractors, and then left the job before finishing. Everything since our install date 2 months ago has gone horribly wrong - they cut the carpet wrong, dinged all of our paint on the baseboards, and didn't have enough carpet for the 178 square feet. They then made us install a random color carpet on our stairs (that we told them we absolutely did not want) for no reason to try to "fix" the fact that the carpet we originally ordered was then on backorder since they mismeasured. I have spent over 7 hours on the phone with them trying to fix the problem and it is still not solved. DO NOT USE THIS CARPET KING, it is horrendous.

Excellent service from Marty at Carpet King. She was on top of our order and the installation was flawless. She worked with us even though we had a tight schedule, we wanted to install the day after we closed on our house. She got it done and I'm so grateful!! I love my new carpets!!

The 4 installers who came to put in our new basement floor trashed our house!!! A horrible experience all around - came home to a thick layer of white cement dust on BOTH floors of our house. Nothing was hung so that the main floor would stay clean. We found our laundry room, which was stuffed with furniture that we moved to have our floors done, with standing water and cement chunks on the floor and our walls and belongings sprayed with water as well. We found our personal bath towels on the floor stuck in the cement. Our driveway and patio were also covered in cement residue and large chunks of a broken pot.The installers left behind their garbage and to top it all off, our new Coretech floor is wavy and not level!When I called to complain, I was told that a customer service specialist would be calling me back to take care of this "issue". That was Friday morning at 10:00AM. It is now Tuesday, long after close - still waiting.Horribly disappointed from every aspect!!!

Marty is wonderful! Low pressure saleswoman took the time to show me several styles and explain the different options. Great service after the carpet was installed as she had the installers come back to my home as needed to make a small correction.

Best all around carpet store that we found. Prices were better than anywhere else and they didn't follow us around the store trying to sell us things like some places did. They were knowledgable about the carpet and even gave us a great discount on the one we chose. Our carpet came in very quickly however we had to keep changing the date of installation as our remodeling project wasn't complete when we originally thought it would be. They were very nice about rescheduling this for us several times.
