Absolutely terrible from start to finish. This place has really gone downhill over the last few years. About 2 1/2 years ago, I used Carpet King to replace old carpet in three rooms. That experience was fabulous, from the sales to the installation. Fast forward to 2021 when I needed to replace carpet in two of the bedrooms that had just been redone after remodel work ruined the carpet. When I suspected that the sales person they sent was trying to overcharge me, they sent a new sales person and, sure enough, the cost came in nearly $500 less for the exact same carpet. Then came the install. The installers tore up the pad, which they were not supposed to do, then tried to install what they admitted was a lower quality pad. They also told me (contrary to the sales person) that they could not extend the carpet up to the built in closets, so now I have a line where the old carpet meets the new carpet, which is noticeable because of the different dye lots. I understand that the same carpet can have different dye lots, but the entire point of getting the carpet replaced up to the built ins was to avoid this issue. When the carpet was installed, moreover, it felt completely different than the old carpet (different pile). When I asked to show me that the carpet installed was the carpet purchased/ordered, they could not. I called customer service repeatedly during the install to try to rectify these issues in real time, but NO ONE answered over several hours. When I finally reached someone, she admitted that she received my messages, but didn't bother to call me back. And then she just passed me along to a customer service voicemail. So, no resolution and the installers just left. This is one of the worst customer service experiences that I've ever had. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
