Many thanks to Carpet King salesperson Toni Katz and master installer Dave for the nice new Congoleum vinyl flooring in our kitchen. We were very pleased with the expert service and craftsmanship. Toni is pleasant to work with and was very good at guiding us through the myriad of flooring options and samples to decide relatively quickly on a few top choices. And throughout the whole process we were very appreciative of how accommodating she was to our evolving preferences and couple of necessary schedule changes. Highly recommend heading to the Snelling Ave. location to take care of your flooring needs.

They were great. Beat our local supplier by over $800 for the same carpet. Did not know my other quotes, and the savings was off their original quote.

Our sales man Dean Baker was great! He was very friendly and knew exactly what we’re looking for. Also the installers were efficient and friendly. My wife and I will definitely use carpet kings again!

From start to finish the service was excellent. William at the Ridgedale store helped me find just what was looking for. The person came to measure on time and when he said he would. Justin did an excellent job of laying the carpet and was very conscious about taking off shoes. Every thing was done in a timely manner and very friendly and professional. Highly recommend and will be going back for my next project this spring

We asked for a rescheduled date. We went into the Eagan Store personally spoke with John and asked for a delay in installation to February.

I received a text that installers were on their way to the house I text back not today they proceeded with installation. I went into the Eagan store and spoke with John he made excuses and said he would have the installer call me. No one has called me to this date

Love this company. I plan to use them again in the summer to replace the carpet in the lower level of my home.
The installers arrived within the time frame scheduled. They made sure it was the correct carpet before installing. We had a family room and two bedrooms done and it looks beautiful. They beat all prices. Definitely would have them do the carpet for the other rooms in our house.
I was so pleased with my installers, Jose and Pablo! Their work was exceptional. They were efficient and paid close attention to detail. Plus it was so nice to have such personable, courteous and polite young men doing the work. Thank you, guys! Our carpet looks wonderful.

Horrible experience, never again don’t use them ever!
We purshased and had made a cash down a payment for the carpet. When we went to the store to sign the agreement the supervisor was there. How rude and unprofessional was she. When she bought up the furniture part of us having to move the furniture. We explained we didn’t know. She immediately was out raged and yelled at us and said well who’s gonna move it we are not!! She then threw her chair back and again yelled at us and said well I was gonna give it to you’s for free. But now I’m not. Well we were not looking for a hand out. And had not asked for one either. We are paying cash. And work hard for our money to throw it away. I don’t know what she was thinking or if she was prejudice. She was sooo UNPROFESSIONAL AND GHETTO SHE WAS THE SUPERVISOR. We said to her NO SWEETIE THAT WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE! We could not believe how rude she was. The part that blew us away was she suppose to be a supervisor. Therefore we asked to cancel the order. And refund our money. This is the Coonrapids Anoka store. And we will take our business elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone. However the sales rep Jessica was very polite to us and professional. Her supervisor should not be a supervisor and needs to take herself to anger management. She just lost a customer. WORST experience EVER! Do not buy from Carpet King

I had carpet installed winter 2018. Within month it was showing wear in high traffic areas. Immediately following installation carpet began pulling out. I find pieces of carpet all over the house. At first I thought they were just left over from Instalation. It’s been about 7 months now and the stray fibers continue to show up. It’s obviously not from Instalation. They sent an inspector out to review. His report basically says normal wear and tear. Two people live in the house with very little guests. The carpet should not be falling apart at 6 months. They refused to help now I fear I will need to replace the carpet at my expense.
This review is solely related to the measuring/quoting process. Professional in person and it was easy to schedule someone to come measure. What I didn’t like and was ultimately the reason we didn’t go with carpet king was how the quote was presented and the lack of consistent communication. No where on our quote did it have the breakdown of the cost. I like to know the cost per square foot and the labor cost breakdown. Those things are important to customers, I cannot hire a company to complete a job for me if I only see an arbitrary number. I requested that information be provided during the in person measure and in my opinion it should always be included without asking.

I want to say I just bought new counter tops from this place and it was the best experience I have ever had. It was quick and smooth. I didn't have to do anything besides pick out the granite I wanted and I had so many options. I love how friendly the staff was and quick to ask me if I needed any help. Toni Katz was the person who helped me pick out my dream kitchen. My husband and I have pushed it off for some Time now, but with how easy this experience has been we are going to do the carpets and hard wood in the bedrooms as well! Carpet king made this possible and I can't thank them enough. I can't wait to do the rest of my house.

Great experience. Highly recommend. Bought granite countertops and the whole service was top notch from beginning to end. Worked with a wonderful woman named Toni Katz. Very down to earth and didn't pressure us. Also very helpful!!!

Update: After approximately 3 months of delays, verbal abuse at times, multiple rescheduled appointments, additional damage caused by delay, etc. the carpet installers completed the job fairly well. The store refuses to give a time range about when the team will arrive on the day selected but instead they give you a range of time for when the installers will call to tell you a range of time that they will arrive, so you end of having to take the whole day off, otherwise, if you aren't there, they cancel and reschedule, but they rescheduled several times anyway, therefore, multiple days off work were needed unnecessarily.The store might possibly do much better if they did not have "Tony" as a clerk. Michael was terrific and Anita might have been good if she was not so negatively influenced by Tony...one bad egg spoils the whole batch!!The installers work very hard but it is obvious they are also yelled at and verbally abused because I could hear it from a distance when the installers were phoned by an agent at the store.However, the company should not charge you for moving furniture, because the installers don't move the furniture out of the room but they instead work around the furniture and move it as needed.Original Posting below--rated 1 star then and now--They don't deliver as promised, expect you to wait all day and won't give you a time frame for delivery and then don't show up or call, so then you have to reschedule another day but they fail to arrive when scheduled....They hire Spanish speaking installers that don't understand English directions (they appear to be day laborers) which explains why the store manager won't commit to a time frame for delivery...the installers don't speak English, so the customer needs and requests are not understood or confused and difficult to express so errors occurred...the installers went to the wrong address and when carpet pad was wet with damp carpeting, the installers weren't able to inform customer and attempted to proceed with install anyway but when I noticed the pad was the lowest grade and not comparable to what was requested, I called the store sales representative, who said the pad they were installing was the only one that could be installed because of the height, however, this was not true... because all that was I needed was a pad with a vapor barrier which adds no extra height...., I asked them to get the right pad, so they left but afterward I realized how damp the current carpet was ...which was partially a result of Carpet Kings delay with the install since they didn't show up as scheduled....after over a month since the initial request/order, they still have not installed the carpet or finished the job and Tonie informed me today that they still have not ordered the carpet yet because they are demanding payment in full first but they need to do the job first before they get paid in full....especially since I see a fraud report filed stating they have a history of demanding payment in full and leaving the customer with unsatisfactory work....I do not recommend this company at all ...go somewhere else and save yourself the headache!! SADLY WITHOUT SERVICE

Best experience ever.My longtime friends from Liberty Comfort Systems recommended I purchase my granite countertops and flooring for my remodel . The service was fantastic. The granite countertops are gorgeous . My ceramic tile with the heated floor is beautiful. The installers were very professional and even spoke spanish . My two sons took spanish in college and had alot of fun talking to these guys .The whole experience was fantastic.Thank-You Carpet King in Roseville for everything.
I cannot say enough positives for this store. Knowledgable staff,great product and prices.Had my basement carpeted within a week of purchase from these people.The installers were fantastic.They spoke spanish to the delight of my grandson who is studying spanish as a second language.Thank You Carpet King for the Wonderful experience.

From estimate to follow-up, they were pretty darn decent so far! They came very, very close to the product I had in mind. So far, quite good! Cost was comparable to other companies and independent local businesses. If it was a little higher, the guarantees they had and the product availability won over the others.

We loved our experience and customer service with Carpet King. We were putting our home on the market and ordered carpet from Home Depot. The day that it was scheduled to be installed the installers never showed up. After calling the store we were informed that some of the carpet came in damaged and so they canceled the crew without letting us know or installing the carpet goods that weren't damaged. It was a Tuesday and our house was set to be put on the market that Friday. Home Depot said they couldn't fix it until the following Monday. In a panic and time crunch, we called Carpet King and worked with Anita. She was absolutely wonderful! I can not express enough the excellent quality of service she provided! We called her and explained our situation and within 2 days she was able to help us find carpet we love and that fit our budget as well as schedule our install the next day! She completely saved us! We couldn't have done this without her service and the service of Carpet King!

The whole process went very smoothly. We would recommend Carpet King wholeheartedly. We will do our bedroom with the same carpet very soon. Sales person was great - very helpful and knew the business.
