Flooring Expo by Carpet King

Helpful sales rep, installers were hard working and efficient, love my new floor.

Michael was a great help! We quickly processed the order, carpet came in right on time. The installation went smooth and the installers were very professional. Very satisfied with this experience!

Great experience from the purchase through measurement, delivery and installation. Professional and helpful at every step

We had expert help in selecting our carpet and determining what would work the best in our area. Crew arrived early, were efficient with installing the product, and listened to my input. Very good experience.

Did a excellent job! We would use them again.

Mitchell has awesome and the product was great!

Everything was great, very friendly, very thorough. Whole process was without issue!

The whole process was great from beginning to end. The install crew was unbelievable.

Mitchell went above and beyond to help me compare carpets & prices and find the right carpet for my project. I had a flood in my basement and initially made the mistake of using a contractor who tried to cheat me with cheap carpet (replacing my high-end nylon carpet with low-end polyester). When I realized the new carpet didn't feel right, I went to Carpet King for help, and Mitchell really saved me. So helpful, responsive, and friendly! Provided me all the information I needed to refute the false claims from my first contractor and force him to remove the cheap stuff. Then I was able to work with Carpet King to get the right carpet installed, and I'm thrilled with the results! Great carpet at the right price. Thanks, Mitchell!

fast and dependable!!

Amazing quality flooring! Our salesman Alec was super friendly and extremely helpful.

Just had the flooring redone in my basement with Flooring Expo, and it turned out great! My salesperson was very helpful and patient, because this was months in the making in my particular situation. The installers were very friendly and did a wonderful job!

The team at Flooring Expo by Carpet King in Plymouth did a great job of providing one on one advice and expertise. I explained what I was looking for and within a couple of minutes they had the perfect match available. On top of the service, they were reasonable when discussing price and finalizing the sale. I would definitely purchase from them again! (and I am not related to anyone that works there)

I would love to give Carpet King and Mitchell 5 stars… the experience was great working with Mitchell and getting his expertise on type of carpet for our project and getting it within our budget. However, he did not update the order once we decided on a color and the wrong color arrived. Luckily I caught it prior to install but they already ripped up part of the carpet for our space to not be functional, furniture moved into the other rooms, no thought to my time off work to deal with the install, pet care costs, etc. It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard any communication from them on estimated time for the correct carpet to arrive. I’m disappointed as I left messages and have not heard back, and thus I give a 2 star review for subpar customer service and lack of attention to detail through the end.

Installation went seamlessly. No complaints.

Very good service, excellent installation. On time and on budget.

They did a great job of contacting me throughout the process, putting in the carpet, following up to make sure it was great!

Mitchell at Ridgedale Flooring Expo was very helpful and provided us excellent customer service!

Conner was very knowledgeable and had great recommendations! Happy from start to finish! Thank you!

We worked with Connor and he was able to provide us with so many options of the Dixie Debut. Highly recommend !!

Thanks Connor it was great working with you

Great company, Connor was great to work with.

Connor is very professional and educated, he knows his stuff! 😊

Connor was great to work with, had a great experience.

Connor is the best sales person I’ve ever had for my flooring needs. He’s attentive and courteous.

Connor is great to work with and has great attention to detail!

Jean was very helpful in helping us with our project as well as the installers they were great I would love to recommend and thank the team for everything,

I have had very good luck with this company. This time installers missed the mark. Just had the basement remodeled. To much talking on the phone instead of paying attention to the job. Chunk of wood knocked out of the new baseboard, glue on the walls, and on the the new vanity top. New door was pushed so hard when installing carpet that the door would not shut. They left their vacuum at another job so I needed to supply. Good company, bad installer!

The minute we walked into Flooring Expo by Carpet King through the final carpet installation we had professional service. When we went to the St. Louis Park store, we were greeted by a very friendly salesman. (Alec). He listened to what we wanted and showed us the different carpets. He was very knowledgable about everything. We ordered the carpet and he told us approximately when the carpet would come in. We set up an installation day and time. The installers were very friendly and were there on time. They did an excellent job and cleaned up well. Throughout the whole time Alec kept us up to date on everything. He even called while the installers were there to see if we were happy with what they were doing. I would recommend Flooring Expo by Carpet King to everybody. I know we’ll be back to have a new kitchen floor installed. Thank You Carpet King.Kris Canaday

I would like to share what an amazing experience I had with Flooring Expo by Carpet King in St. Louis Park, MN. My sales representative was Alec Eardley and he is excellent. I called and made an appointment with him, when I arrived, he was prepared and walked me through all of the hardwood flooring options that met my specifications. He was extremely knowledgeable and detailed in his explanation of the products. And he was also candid about the pros and cons of the each product. With his help, I made an excellent decision on my hardwood floors. After the purchase, and prior to the installation, he communicated regularly and with substance. He returned phone calls within an hour. The crew that installed the hardwood floors was also absolutely excellent. They were timely, communicative and had crazy incredible carpentry skills. They worked on a Saturday accommodate me. It was a 4 day job, and they were fantastic. The end product is stunning and it was priced very competitively. The individual that lead the work crew was very skilled and took great pride in his work. His name is Vitalli Pavlo. I did a lot of research before going with Alec and Vitalli. They are the absolute best. This is the first time I have ever written a review; this experience exceeded every expectation and i felt compelled to share my insights. I get compliments every time someone sees my hardwood floors. You will not go wrong with ALEC, Vitalli Pavlo and The Flooring Expo.

Mitchell’s wide range of knowledge made the entire process a complete cakewalk. I enjoyed working with him on this project and look forward to working with him on many projects to come. As a note- I drive past two other Flooring Expo locations just to work with him directly.

Great customer service, very knowledgeable and great communication.

Michael was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The carpet install went smoothly.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!! Will go back again

My original flooring that was installed was determined to be warped. After posting a google review with the picture below, I was contacted by Giuliano who called me immediately and got the ball rolling on getting my flooring replaced. I really appreciate that they are standing behind their product and are working to make this right. I will post an updated flooring pic as soon as new flooring is installed. Thank you, Giuliano!

I would like to give a big shout of Thank you to Marti Runeborg at Flooring Expo for helping resolved our flooring issue; without her intervention we will waiting for a while. We purchased our laminate floor in March 2021and noticed in June 2022 some of the flooring plank was loose and we called Flooring Expo. They sent out an inspector and they concluded that the flooring needs to be replaced. We were working with the installation manager, but he was not feeling well for more than a week. But Marti stepped in to help us order our flooring and schedule installation as well. Without Marti intervention in a timely manner, we wouldn’t have a floor. She kept us informed every step of the way. Flooring Expo clearly demonstrated that they stand behind the work and warranties. Not many businesses do that these days. I recommend you go with real professionals Flooring Expo by Carpet King.

The installers were very polite and professional. Will definitely purchase carpet and flooring from Floor Expo in the future.

Disappointed. Had 3 bedrooms installed with new carpet- happy with quality of carpet and installers were great! However sales person who helped us - I wouldn’t recommend. Make sure to go not on a holiday weekend where the A team must have time off.
