Flooring Expo by Carpet King

I had a great experience replacing the carpet in my new condo with Flooring Expo. They were by far the most affordable option on the market, had an excellent selection of carpet options(the other flooring options looked equally robust but I was only doing carpets), and the people were phenomenal.I worked with Steve from the Maplewood location and he was great the entire way through. He asked me about my vision for the space and what it was currently like. He made good recommendations based off of my initial ideas, and as I narrowed down my choice he continued to provide great advise. I felt like I was being an annoying customer with how many samples I wanted to see, but Steve had nothing but patience and a smile for me when I came through the door.After I made my decision he made everything very simple. He walked me through all the paperwork, ordered my carpet, scheduled my install, and stayed in touch with me so I knew as each step was completed.I was given a window of time that the installers would arrive and they were squarely within. They were polite knowledge folks that walked me through the install plan and answered my questions, and then got to work. I spoke with Wilson primarily and he was great too. Gave me an estimate of how long the work would take and called me 30 minutes early to let me know it was done.The actual install and product are perfect! There are no detectable seams in the carpet, tight install, and cleaned up by the time I arrived. The carpet looks even better than I thought it would and it gives the exact foot-feel I was hoping for.I have to rate my experience as 5/5, it was simply too good to even try to justify anything less. If I ever need a flooring project done again Steve at Flooring Expo is the first person I am talking to.

Excellent and knowledgeable sales staff, just a great experience. You think a flooring store is more expensive, but it really isn't. Give them a try.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing and having our new flooring installed! Steve was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. His follow-up was excellent, and we always felt well taken care of.We chose the LaConte Oak flooring from IFC, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The installers were quick, professional, and did a great job. There was an issue with the pattern layout that I wasn’t happy with, and they came back to make it right without any complaints or hesitation. That level of customer service really stood out to us.Overall, we are very satisfied with our experience and absolutely love our new floors. We would definitely recommend this flooring store to anyone looking for quality products and excellent service!

Great experience! We needed to replace some carpet in a rental - they came out the next day for an estimate, and the carpet was installed a few days later. Quick and easy process, the final install looks great. The installers were on time, professional, and did a wonderful job.

I had a relatively large job. I carpeted the upstairs and downstairs of my house. The team showed up on time and we were able to get it done within eight hours. Flooring Expo was able to coordinate an excellent job. I’m very satisfied.

We had excellent service from start to finish. Floor looks great, and Steve & Sue were easy to work with. Steve made sure to check with us before and after the installation to make their was good communication and we were happy with the finished product. We couple minor issues with the trim and Steve made sure the technicians made it right. He was not happy until we were happy and satisfied. I would definitely recommend Flooring Expo of Maplewood.

He was always available to answer questions and he was always sure to give us updates on installation schedules. The LVP flooring installers and carpet installers were polite and professional. Went instore to purchase some new carpet. Met with Steve and had a great experience. He was very helpful and explained differences in carpet pad, carpet and warranty. He comes out to home and does the measurement himself. He followed up after installation to make sure all went well. Great customer service!

Our experience was honestly amazing. We had 3 other estimates and once Steve walked in our house we knew we were going with flooring expo. I worked with Steve at Flooring Expo as part of a restoration project due to water damage, including replacing carpet in a bedroom, tile in a bath and LVP in a family room. Steve was awesome to work with!! I came in to look at LVP and Carpet for our basement project and left the store with full size samples and a scheduled consult/estimate at our house. Within one day of the in home estimate, I had the final cost for both of the products we selected. Installation took place the following week and despite having no overhead lights, the installers did an amazing job!!! We will definitely be connecting with Steve at Flooring Expo for any future needs!!!

She was knowledgeable and we whipped right through the process!! All in all, from start to finish, it was less than a week to have our carpet installed!! Steve Sbarbaro was great!! He was kind and polite, but thorough! They make a great team!!
