I needed paint a supplies for a medium sized, several day project. The staff took the time to understand my needs and explain the options and let me make the decision. They also freely offered their opinion and suggestions which was very helpful. All this made the projects go so much better. They were very patient and helpful when I call them up to clarify a couple of issues also.

Casey and the rest of the team at the Edina Hirshfield's are exceptional. I'm a craftsman, and come in with some challenging projects every now and then. We worked with Dawn Feda from Hirshfield's home service to design and buy window treatments for the whole house, 16 windows, including 4 very large, and 1 patio door. All of the design was for a fully remodeled house with a very modern design. I am so thoroughly impressed by Dawn's design advice that it is hard to even explain how well all of the colors and designs have worked out for us. All it took was 2 trips from her. The installation was also done faster than promised, and the 2-person husband-wife crew was very efficient and courteous. I highly recommend Hershfield's. They may appear pricey to you, but you will never have any need to reconsider anything again.

PLEASE READ THIS. We have worked with literally hundreds of contractors and vendors over the years in our remodeling projects, typically with good success. Flooring Expo is the exception and easily the worst vendor we have ever dealt with. Our project was bungled at every level—the salesperson, the measurer, and the installation. We wrote a respectful two-page letter to both the store manager and regional manager describing the problems we experienced, neither of whom bothered to respond. It’s now four weeks after the installation, and they finally sent an installer to repair and finish the bungled job. Floor Expo makes you pay for the entire job before the installation, and now we know we know why. We strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere to avoid this nightmare, because it doesn’t get much worse than this.

Great sales person. Worked with me when carpet was ready to install but my remodel ran behind. Matched lowest price I found for carpet I wanted. Only one minor problem: installers covered a vent. But when I called rep, installer called me back within minutes and job was completed promptly.

Worst experience I have had with this type of store. I've been sewing and installing carpet in my own home in my family's homes for 10 years and the moment that I walk in here there and ask a question about if they have a certain type of carpet in stock they looked me up and down and spoke to me like a child. Granted, I am young, but I know exactly what I am talking about. I walked out without doing any further business with them, and will not be going back.

I will never recommend Carpet King to anyone! told me they would do something about a finance issue, never did. They don't follow thru on what they tell you. My recommendation, quit lying!!! Fix what you did so people that finance don't get ripped off!!!
