We’re very happy with our new carpet! If you’re looking for a carpet man, look no farther than Sam.

Terrible installation. Stairs had to be redone . Pad didn’t cover whole step. Very few tacks were holding carpet on each step . Definite flaws in carpet yet they still installed it . 2nd install did it correct . They were suppose to bring new silver transition strips, he said he didn’t know anything about it . Scheduled a few days later as he was very busy that day .... he never showed up . When he did come out he had 2 transition strips that matched out of the 3 I needed. Youd think he’d put the 2 that matched at the bathrooms that were on the same floor and the one that didn’t down in the basement laundry ! Or bring 3 that match ! But noooo! Unbelievable! Asked him why he did that and he said the carpet was too soft , what the ?!?! Communication between store and installers is horrific . Tabatha asked for photos of the flaws so I sent photos of the flaws to her. A week later she called and left a voicemail to send photos of the flaw. Still unresolved 😡 Would not refer this company ever !

Worse install experience ever. We have a 1800 square foot basement and they did not even use a power carpet stretcher. They only used a knee kicker! Seams were horrible. Had to have them come back and redo several of them the day after initial install. Now a few seams are coming apart and they will not warranty them, 3 years later. No lifetime install guarantee here. Never again will I purchase from them. Do yourself a favor and go through a small local carpet dealer instead.

The floor looks nice, but it’s going to be three days to complete the project because they had to order an extra piece, everything was covered in a thick layer of dust, we had to move all our furniture back in the house ourselves (even though we paid extra for this service), they didn’t reattach the railing, and they forgot to plug the dishwasher in after moving it. No amount taken off our bill, no promise that they will be able to fix it tomorrow. Would not recommend.

On time and quick! Would hire again.

This was my second project with Carpet King, first time around it was great. This time I had a worse experience. My carpet came in late, had to pick new carpet. The installers called on the way, they didn’t know they were moving furniture, I paid extra to have it done. They were inconsistent with masks, AND, I have some nail heads sticking out on my stairs. I’m not sure I’d go back

The carpet (already installed) we originally chose was defected. When we discovered it and brought it to their attention, they were able to work with the manufacture to replace it at no cost to us in a very reasonable amount of time.

The technicians were experienced, attending to all details. From the frontline sales rep to the installation of quality carpeting ... would recommend and use Carpet King again.

We worked with Sam to plan a flooring and countertop install. There were a couple of hiccups in the process, hence the 4-star review: for example, a mismeasure resulted in the original material order being about 60-80 square feet short, so the installer had to return a few days later to complete the job. However, the situation was dealt with satisfactorily and overall we were very pleased with Sam's communication and responsiveness throughout the process.

We purchased a large amount of Daltile and couldn’t be happier with the process. Our sales contact Sam was very responsive and bent over backwards to get us a great price. He also helped us through all the little details and issues that come up when ordering. Highly recommended!

They found the carpet I was looking for and gave me a quote Basically over the phone without any hesitation. It was quickly followed by an in person measure and the install was done in less than a month ( even during covid)!The install was quick and the house was spotless after the guys left! We worked with Sam and he was so thorough and pleasant to work with! We will definitely be repeat customers for the rest of our home!

I bought DIY supplies from this store, the staff was super helpful and kept the materials they offered within my budget.When there was an issue with what I received (some damaged items) they fixed it within a day without hassling me about it.Very satisfied with the service and quality of materials.

Very great paint store!

I needed paint a supplies for a medium sized, several day project. The staff took the time to understand my needs and explain the options and let me make the decision. They also freely offered their opinion and suggestions which was very helpful. All this made the projects go so much better. They were very patient and helpful when I call them up to clarify a couple of issues also.

Casey and the rest of the team at the Edina Hirshfield's are exceptional. I'm a craftsman, and come in with some challenging projects every now and then. I can truly say that the staff here knows paint and finishes. The level of expertise and customer service displayed is something you just don't find anymore.

Great service. Matching technology worked well. Expensive acrylic but I needed it.

We worked with Dawn Feda from Hirshfield's home service to design and buy window treatments for the whole house, 16 windows, including 4 very large, and 1 patio door. All of the design was for a fully remodeled house with a very modern design. I am so thoroughly impressed by Dawn's design advice that it is hard to even explain how well all of the colors and designs have worked out for us. All it took was 2 trips from her. The installation was also done faster than promised, and the 2-person husband-wife crew was very efficient and courteous. I highly recommend Hershfield's. They may appear pricey to you, but you will never have any need to reconsider anything again.

Flooring Expo is the exception and easily the worst vendor we have ever dealt with. Our project was bungled at every level—the salesperson, the measurer, and the installation. We wrote a respectful two-page letter to both the store manager and regional manager describing the problems we experienced, neither of whom bothered to respond. It’s now four weeks after the installation, and they finally sent an installer to repair and finish the bungled job. Floor Expo makes you pay for the entire job before the installation, and now we know we know why. We strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere to avoid this nightmare, because it doesn’t get much worse than this.

I shopped at 5 stores before meeting Mike at Carpet King in St. Louis Park. He provided excellent service and the best advice on which carpet to buy. Everything went very smoothly.

Horrible Customer Service, the floor was measured incorrectly. They ordered stair treads which I did not. I am still waiting for a response 2 weeks later.
